We are in mission to help kids in needs.

Volunteers are the true heart and soul of USDT 4Kids. Every time a donation is made, it symbolizes the birth of hope, illuminating a child’s path to a better future. And each time a volunteer steps forward, it signifies the arrival of an angel on earth—ready to inspire hope, ignite change, and transform lives. Together, they create a powerful tapestry of compassion and impact, shaping a world where every act of kindness leads us closer to a brighter, more equitable future for children worldwide.

Requirements

After completing the health requirements and attending an orientation workshop, volunteers must schedule an interview with the USDT 4Kids Director of Volunteers to determine the most suitable placement. Following this, they will meet with the supervisor of their chosen department to assess compatibility, discuss necessary training, and finalize a potential work schedule tailored to their skills and availability.

Volunteers must submit valid health clearance documentation to ensure compliance with safety and wellness standards before participating in USDT 4Kids programs.

All volunteer candidates must attend an orientation workshop before placement. Please bring your application and health records (refer to health information below) to the workshop. If you are a student, you must also provide a completed recommendation form. Contact Volunteer Services to obtain the application, recommendation form, and details on upcoming orientation dates.

Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older to work in Child Life Services. However, we offer the Summer Student Program, open to high school students aged 17 and older, designed for those looking to fulfill community service hours while gaining valuable experience.

All volunteer assignments require a minimum commitment of 3 consecutive months. Volunteers are expected to serve at least 2 to 4 hours per week during this period.
